Apparently we're trying to steal a Notre Dame DB commit from Texas named Okotcha? My Notre Dame buddy is up in arms about it. Anyone know anything about him?

Notre Dame got him to de-commit from the University of Wisconsin I believe.

They may not want to get too far up on their high horse over this one, should he choose to de-commit from them. Just sayin'...

No commit is safe until they sign on the dotted line. No such thing as "stealing" a recruit. Oral commits are not binding...

the ND message board I saw last night appeared like they were taking this pretty well. they seemed to think that OU was his favorite all along and when we actually offered, he was destined to choose us.

He was a standout player on a dominant Coppell defense. They shut down everyone they played except Euless Trinity.

Nice pickup for us IMO. I think we had a spot open up and he was first in line. I assume it was Carter switching to TCU that made us offer another corner.
