I like Don, and he's the Canadian version of Howard Cosell. In Canada, the guy's a legend. In the US, where hockey rates a distant fourth in major sports, those outside the hockey world have no clue who he is, or what he's about.

Don Cherry is good people. And other than the fact that he's fiercely proud of being Canadian, he'd fit in with you knuckleheads in a normal setting.

BTW SSC, his jackets have gotten more out there since his wife passed from cancer a few years back.
