Who is yours in the 2011 Class?

I'm going with Brandon Williams. The backfield is going to be claustrophobic next season, and everyone is going to be vying for some elbow room. I look for him to possibly see the field next season, and if not, then all the more experience to him. While he didn't show much during the UA game, ESPN scouts saw a lot of promise in him during drills.

Sleeper: Denzel Williams. This was said of him during UA game workouts, "3:58 pm ET -- Danzel Williams, a multifaceted athlete who could also play running back, is doing really well as a full-time corner this week. He's got great feet and showing really good natural cover skills. Going to be a good one for the Sooners." Exciting!

my favorite going in to this past season was trey millard... this year from what i've seen, i like the defensive tackles... jordan wade and jordan phillips... though i don't think anyone in this class will have the immediate impact that the guys in last years class had... but if i had to pick one to make a quick impression, it'd be metoyer...

Trey Metoyer

Big receiver who can go up and get it.

Nice compliment to Broyles and Stills me thinks.

I'm excited about Metoyer. I think he can contribute immediately and make an impact as a playmaker. It's just speculation, of course, but from some of his performance highlights he already looks like he is college ready. His build and fluid moves reminds me alot of Michael Irvin.

On defense, I think Franklin Shannon could contribute early. The whole class looks good to me.

So now our QB's can't throw over our linemen.....Cool. You WOULD pick the 6'9 dude. :)

I was thinking the same thing until I saw that Metoyer didn't enroll early this spring. So I don't see him getting a lot of playing time when fall comes.

Brandom Williams is the obvious choice here. Look for danzel to be a game changer if he gets a shot at punt returns. Think Perkins.

I'm going with Jordan Phillips out of Kansas. He's a beast and should be a great player.

Jordan Phillips is a man child, #1 player out of Kansas, so it'll be interesting to see what can add to that frame but I'm going to go a different direction.

How about the #1 player out of Missouri, TE Dan Tapko? Stoops really knows how to find these kind of guys with all the tools and Stevenson is the other TE in the class who is rated higher than Tapko. Both these guys are big and block well yet get down field well and got the hands to bring it in.

This class is small but fills needs with play makers.

Tapko just has the look of a great football player.

I'm hoping for a Brody type work ethic and I read somewhere the kid enjoys blocking.

It's another one of those 3 star gems!

Father of Trey Metoyer, OU WR commit, said as of today his son has not qualified “but is well on his way.” ACT is holdup.

Metoyer's score is very close to qualifying him.

Metoyer, the No. 1 WR in nation per Scout.com, will be taking test again soon with hopes it will qualify him.
