This needed to become an actual law?
I don't think I ever realized that this was the State law . . .
For decades, the law allowed vehicles to turn left after signaling and pausing in an intersection. Oncoming traffic was required to yield to the turning vehicle. Some cities and towns enacted their own ordinances that required drivers to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic.

Talk about stupid . . . I'm glad they officially changed it to reflect the more common sense approach to left turns.
