i still hate Miami

i was impressed by their fans in 2009 though. even the jackass next to me that wouldn't shut up the whole game was pretty funny. it's not like CU, KState or OSU where i've literally thought i was going to have to fight someone

Notre Dame. Harder to hate the last few years because they have displayed such a high level of suckatude. But my hate goes way back with them always being ranked about 6 spots higher than they should be. I always would say that they had to be beaten TWICE to knock them out of the national title hunt.

Thankfully the national press has finally gotten tired of polishing ND's knob and moved on to the SEC flavor of the day.

I had to go with Notre Dame. Despite their futility, it still warms my heart to see them lose. Miami's relative futility registers a "meh". LSU would probably be higher if it had been repeated encounters, either recent or historic, but it was really only one game (unless one of you old timers can drum up a memory outside my lifetime for reasoning). Just don't give a **** about Boise either. Still irrelevant. Hard to drum up hate for a team that wins and still gets nothing meaningful out of it. Oregon's probably still my #2, and USC #3. Still found I didn't care about the latter when they were mediocre. That hate only rises when they're some type of good.

LSU by far in my book strictly due to the fan base. They really do shame their University and state and don't even realize it. I think they actually take pride in it.

If I had to list them:

LSU
Miami (33 and Miami)
Notre Dame (Always on TV when I was growing up)

These are non Big XII teams as Texas would be on top of the list. Proven by me cheering for Miami in the Cotton Bowl in the early 90s. Miami beat them like a drum and I was loving it. 200 yards in penalties...and still a 40 point win.

If you don't understand why some of us hate BSU, try living in a "non-BCS" state. The locals where I live are still feasting on that one and lying about how the game really went in the process. I also remember their fans in Phoenix being generally rude and standoffish, and I've heard stories from OU fans afterward who had bad experiences with them after they won. Someone on another board even posted about getting some lip about being an OU fan while on a fishing trip in Idaho.

Also, to clarify - the "lying about how the game really went" has to do with people either claiming that "Boise State kicked Oklahoma's a$$" or making it out to be some epic win over a national title contending team. We weren't that good in '06, and Boise was no "little engine that could." They won that year, 36-3, in Salt Lake City against Da Yoots, and that tells any knowledgeable college fan all they need to know about how good they really were.

And, the overkill over that game, especially considering that no one who played in college in 2010 played in that game, made me angrier by the minute.

I've spent alot of time in LA working (although I never lived there). I've been told that everyone north of LA are called "yankees". And that includes us. :D

No one claimed we won the Big 12. We're not Texas. It's impossible to win the Big 12 when we weren't even playing in the game. Most OSU fans were hoping that somehow the BCS gods would smile upon us and choose us, but we all knew what was going to happen. We shared the Big 12 South title is what happened.
