Anyone else hear this? Evidently Trice is going to get put in the slot. Interesting move

well we dont have many good receivers as it stands now.....oh wait :D

i think this was talked about pre-Fiesta Bowl. apparently he was practicing with the receivers during pre-bowl practices.

yeah, i had heard that they want to try him everywhere and see where he fits in the best.

I believe he was a corner last year. I think the slot would be the best fit for him.

Why are we moving him to the slot? we're pretty stacked at wr right now and next year...he will probably just ride the pine there too. Not hating on the guy just being realistic.

Little quick to jump the gun on that, isn't it? It could also mean that he's not meant to be a D1A cornerback or safety, or we're loaded there, or his skills set is such that he might do better on offense.

It could mean a whole lotta things.

What I see also. In the slot his fiercness would work coming down to block a safety but I can't see him having much impact on a linebacker. The idea of giving him the ball in space with his moves and speed is more than likely the reasoning behind the move.

Could Trice be the missing component to the Diamond next year? The formation needs guys that can run and catch. From that video, he seems pretty shifty as a receiver, and this would certainly be away of getting him some pt.
