What coach in his right mind would ever agree to be the head coach for this guy? It's almost a career killer.

I suspect, as with most jobs in the NFL but more so this one specifically, you enter it with the complete understanding that you will be fired in a couple of years. You just bide your time and collect your multi-million dollar yearly salary until you too get the axe.
