This is great news but they still need players. Hopefully they'll be able to make some good personnel moves.

I hope he doesn't push to trade Bradford for Tebow.

Lol 0% chance of that.

This is a great thing for Sam because Mcdaniels is a great qb coach and off coordinator...

If they can get him some weapons he could have a 4,000 yard season next year.

(latest mock draft has the rams getting Baldwin wr from pittsburgh in the 2nd and Kendall Hunter in the 3rd)

That was my first thought, haha. I'm not so sure I'm excited about this coaching move. I guess we'll see. I mean he was the OC for the pats for a couple seasons right? So I assume he was a better OC than he was head coach. If not, I'd rather see him NOT coaching Sam. It just always seemed to me that McDaniels is a dbag.

Everything I've read says they want Julio Jones in the 1st round.

And personally I think Josh McDaniels will do a good job with Sam. Josh got a little carried away with personnel moves and seemed lost at times as a HC. I think a move back to a less pressure filled position and having someone like Bradford to coach will do him wonders.

I don't doubt that they want him. I highly doubt he will be available, though.

Sam, great job memorizing the playbook and learning a new offense as a rookie...Now here's a whole a system to learn and master!

I think it could be good, McDaniels was good as an OC/QB Coach but was in way over his head as a head coach with power over personnel decisions. I say that as a Broncos and Pats fan, I'm glad he is out of Denver.

Mock's have Julio and Green picked before they pick in the 1st round. AJ at 6 to the browns and Julio at 8 to the titans...this mock is the only 1 I pay attention to and it was updated today.

Rams pick at #14

If Julio doesn't slip to 14 , they'll either trade for him or take a wr in the later rounds. Jonathan Baldwin, Torrey Smith, Austin Pettis, etc.. there are a lot of quality receivers in the draft.

My newspaper said today that McDaniels favors the spread like Sam ran at OU. If so, I am stoked. Usually has one back and one tight end in. Sam could have a 4,000 yard season.

How long 'til September?

Some of you seriously think this could even be a REMOTE concern?!?!?! WOW is all I can say to that... lol. Some of you guys are really funny...

Josh McDaniels did a great job as a QB coach/OC...And nobody will tell you faster than McDaniels, who credits himself every time Brady completes a pass.

Another Dbag who is very good as a coordinator

I read the article on ESPN...It just seems that by now, everyone would understand that it wasn't a spread.

Well he didn't exactly run an NFL type, i-formation (think Bama)offense either.
It certainly had a lot of spread elements...More of a Hybrid

Well that's kind of the reason I put a "haha" after my sentence.
I don't really honestly think it would happen...it was more of a joke toward Josh McDaniels and his mancrush on Tebow. I can't speak for the others but I'm fairly positive they were joking around as well.

STEP has Green at #2 and Jones at #6 on his draft board, and that lines up with most other things I've seen. Obviously he could drop before the draft, but STEP thinks he'd have to do something like running a 4.7 at the combine to drop down to #14. He knows way more than me, and probably anybody on this board for that matter, so I'm inclined to agree with him.

JohnnyMack

I'll wager any amount of money that Green doesn't go at #2.

That list isn't to say that Green will go #2. It's just a rating list regardless of position. Denver may not be looking at a WR at #2, but I doubt he would go past #4. It's possible Jones could drop to #14. I'm just not going to get my hopes up.

I think that owners will be drafting heavily towards defense in the top 10 of this years draft and shying away from offensive skill position players early in the draft who are going to want more guaranteed money. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see only 2 or 3 of the entire top 10 go to skill position players.

I'm hoping you aren't serious.....

McDaniels will take credit for all of Sam's previous accomplishments prior to his arrival and will take full credit for anything Sam does with his career continuing on from this point.

The guy is a world class ******rocket who gets too much credit.
