No freaking respect for a top-10 baseball program. That's the day of the Saturday Bedlam game. I guess we'll be outnumbered even more than normal that day.

What a joke.

Well, it is kind of a joke. Spring FB game will probably be in the early afternoon with baseball at Bricktown at about 7:00 PM. I'll just make it a doubleheader.

I know Stoops seems to go out of his way to support the other programs at OU....I don't think they would cross schedule.

Should I buy tickets from an online broker or will I be able to get them at the tailgate? :pop:

A lot of folks drive in for the Spring Game. Maybe the Athletic Department is trying to promote a weekend trip - come for football, stay for baseball, then drive home on Sunday. I'm sure the Norman/OKC merchants would appreciate it also.

With a 6 hour drive, having two big events that weekend gives me more incentive to make the effort.

Hate to break it to you guy...but football takes precedence over baseball round hur

I hope you guys are right and it brings people in from out of town for the series. I'm afraid it's going to keep the locals away.

As for the last response about football taking precedence, I realize that, but an out-of-season sport should never take precedence over the biggest game of the season for a team in-season. I know that's not the reality of it, but it sucks.
