Trey Metoyer going JUCO (Rumor)

So, I was on the Rivals boards and everyone is talking about Metoyer going the Juco route. Has anyone heard this or was this just talk to get people talking and spreading rumors

This would be kind of a big deal. Anyone know anything?

He and his father were on KREF yesterday. They were being interviewed by James Hale and P.J. Mills; there was no mention of any juco enrollment...

Sounds just like rumors. I think there are only 3 guys enrolling early and he's not one of them. I would hate to lose the kid if he's as good as they say he is. However, this team is so loaded at that spot that it wouldn't be a huge deal if it were true. I doubt he sees any playing time next year.

ALL OU players are either grade cheats, paid or criminals. Stoops is a closet Satan worshipper. The entire program is awash in illegal money and the only reason the NCAA hasn't shut the entire athletic program down is because OU bribes them as well.
I think that pretty well covers UT, TAMU, OSU and TT comments. Now we can move on.

I think he does see the field next year if he is here. If his height and weight listed is correct, I think he plays. From the film I have seen on him...he should play right away.

Since there's likely no aspiring college athletes here, a big lesson to parents, teachers, coaches and donors-who-host-athletes-for-dinners:

Emphasize schoolwork.

Love it when an athlete makes a great catch, a great throw, a great tackle, a great kick, a great block, etc., but love it just as much when they're reading a great book, debating great topics, researching great subjects.

It makes me sad when kids have the talent to make a team, but not the grades. :(
