I dont see her much cause her Mama raised her. But anyway the other night she came by and we had a great visit, and she started talkin about the 2 Dif shops that have not fixed her car yet . I ax her whats wrong and she says they tell her its a coil . Now Bear in mind My daughter KNOWS i ran my own shop fer years , It just dont dawn on her .
Anyway this shop has been charging her 150 bucks a pop to change a coil on this VW Pissant , Charged her 50 bucks for an Oil change. I just shook my head. She say what?
I tell her bring the car by Sun. and Ill do the Other 2 coils AND change the Spark plugs that they told her were The Most expensive out there. Any way
Got 2 more Coils a set of plugs a Fuel Filter and a Repair manual for that car for a 103 Bucks . Figure Im savin her 4 or 500 bucks at the rate they were milkin her . 300 on the coils and no tellin how much on the plugs and fuel filter.
Oh the Coils cost me 26 bucks each , Labor to change em? Just reach down unplug the dayum thing and pull str8 up. Reinsert the new one and plug it back up .
No TOOLS needed.
