330 yards of total offense combined..wow

And 48 points. I took the under and was expecting around this amount of yards. Only problem is they've been playing offense on an arena football field.

Great way for this game to finish. Tied w/ 4 minutes left.

If the team that wins the toss scores a field goal on the opening possession, it will then kick off to the other team. A touchdown would end the game at any point. And the game would become sudden-death if the teams trade field goals on opening possessions.

On first possession if receiving team kicks FG then kicking team gets 1 possession to tie or win. If receiving team scores TD, game over.

Right after I posted the GB defense came in full force. Atlanta also drove to about the 40 their first drive. GB probably had more yards but both teams had a ton of yards that half. GBs D really finished the half off though.

He was considered the afterthought linebacker on that USC team when the draft came around (behind Cushing and Maualuga) and has outperformed both of them on the field at the NFL level. He's actually a great example to use for kids.

What do you think about the Packers in Chicago? I put down some money for Green Bay to win the NFC. I just dont see how Chicago can handle the Packers offense and I see Cutler throwing more than one pick.

Only way you slow down this Pack offense is keep them on the bench. That's one thing Atlanta has been really, really good at all season. Not tonight tho. Rodgers tearing it up. Hope to see Pack/Chicago next week. Should be another classic.

I was treated to the SUC band playing outside of our bus for 45 minutes after the game while waiting to head back to the hotel. Made it sting just a little more. :mad:

That would suck. My phone was dead and I was looking for my ride. I had to sit in a USC fans Tahoe and charge my phone until I could get in touch w/ someone. Thank goodness he was very nice. Acutally all of the fans I dealt w/ before and after were really great. Most were older and just liked to talk football. I wasn't expecting that from Cali folk.

That's surprising. All I talked to we're rude and obnoxious except for one who was trying to convince me and my dad that he was Lienharts Highschool coach while pounding down Bud Lites and wearing a stupid red wig. I also got to see a 290 pound middle age man dance up and down my section while talking **** to me every time SUC scored. It was an unpleasant night in every aspect.

That's funny about Lienarts coach. We ran into a guy, and I actually believed this guy, who said he was Dwayne Jarret's high school coach. Had a NJersey state champ ring from Jarret's high school. Looked like a coach...in good shape and all. Ran into him at Fat Tuesday's and he and his wife went with us to a couple different clubs ending at the Clevelander. They were real fun.
