Just wondering which teams from the old North Div. will step up and become legit as challengers for the Big XII.
It will likely be a long time before it happens as they are pretty much a bunch of doormats.

My guess is that Missouri will continue to be on the fringes and will be a solid 4th to 6th place team.

Kansas State will slowly move up to a respectable level only if they are serious about success, which is debatable. IMO they will contend for a title before any of the others.

Iowa State is Iowa State. They didn't do much in the Big 8 and will continue not to do much in the Big XII.

KU is pretty much in the tank for the foreseeable future. They know Basketball up there and are content with that.

I hope that as a group they all step it up a notch or two.

Mizzou has been more consistent than anyone else up there for a while

For this league to make a go at it long term (which is still very debatable) Mizzou as well as OSU and A&M have to start being consistent top 25 teams.

I don't see any other north team outside of Mizzou bringing value to the football side of the conference consistently.
