View Full Version : cops in norman earlier?

anyone know if something went down in norman earlier this evening? at about 515, i was driving on robinson between porter and flood and saw a couple of cop cars with their lights on fly by me and all of a sudden traffic was stopped. i turned down one of the side streets and saw that there were six or seven cop cars blocking traffic east and west on robinson and there was some guy standing in the middle of the robinson with his hands up in the air and one of the cops was holding on to a police dog that looked like it was about to attack the guy.

THEN at about 7 i was on main and 36th and saw a cop car blocking 36th and main going south and also westbound main across 36th and further west on main there were two or three cop cars with their lights on in the middle of the road. i was heading north on main and shortly after passing this set of cops, two of the cars went flying by me again. wonder if it was some kind of drug bust or something else cooler?

The thunder's were in town and the cops were just clearing traffic for us. I'm all powerful like that and stuff.

All I did was jaywalk....before I knew it, I got bit by a dog, tazed by a cop, and pissed my pants at the same time. Terrible day!

I saw the cops on Robinson but they had the road open. There were about 4 or 5 cops and they had the cars doors and trunk open. Probably drugs.

i got busted by an unmarked one sitting by campus on Boyd last Friday

i passed him a day or two later across from the Duck Pond on Lindsey :mad:
