Brandi Favre, younger sister of NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre, has been arrested in Mississippi on drug charges, say police officials.

A drug arrest Jan. 9 in Diamond Head, Miss., led police to a meth lab located in a condominium complex. Five people, including Ms. Favre, were arrested for their proximity to the lab.

It is unclear whether Ms. Favre resided in the condo where the lab was discovered, or she was a visitor to the facility.

It is not the first arrest for Brett's younger sister. She has also been charged with felony shop-lifting, and with unlawful use of a weapon.

She once had a job up in Green Bay on a radio show (I guess just to talk as Brett's sister???) but for the most part I don't think Brett's family has capitalized on Favre fame or gotten million dollar handouts. Sister Favre has been a problem child for a long time and even was caught shoplifting while she was up in Green Bay (apparently with less than $250 of merchandise) in addition to this meth bust.

I believe she was also involved in a failed drive by shooting. She was driving the car, but the shooter missed their intended target. I guess it's hard to maintain a smooth path when your chomping down on a Wendy's triple.

Actually I'm really not that anti-Brett. But I have spent a lot of time traveling through MS and the south. And since the media seems to always make a big deal about Brett being from MS, this will just always come to my mind.

But I think Oklahoma had the most meth labs in the country in one report. So I shouldn't be so quick to label.
