My neighbors grandson goes to Apopka Florida HS, a 2012 prospect with 35 offers with OU and Auburn leading the way. He's 6'3' 265lb's,he plays OT and DT. His father is the HS coach, and his mother, from Del City HS was an OU Cheerleader from 1984-1986. He's a stud!! He's rated as a 4 star athlete right now. I saw him play on ESPN and he was a terror on opening holes on offense. His little brother, a freshman, was the starting QB.

On an unofficial visit, Coach Stoops introduced him to the team as a kid who wanted to play at OU. Ty was asked and then led the team in a prayer at the friday practice before the Iowas State game.

I failed to say he has a 4.8 GPA and rated number 1 in his class of over 700 students.

Sounds like a fictional NASCAR driver. Is he faster than Cole Trickle or Ricky Bobby?

seriously though, looks like a kid we'd be lucky to have. hopefully his momma steers him right.

Tom Cruise character in Days of Thunder. I assume inspired by actual NASCAR driver named......wait for it.....Dick Trickle. Seriously.

I have been told that Ty has his college choices down to 3 schools. OKLAHOMA, Miami and Auburn. Miami is really making a run at him. The Miami recruiter, played for the Canes from 84-85 when OU lost several games to Miami, Ty's mother at that time was an OU Cheerleader. Ty'e mom doesn't like the bad bou image that UM personifies.
