I have actually visited the house where they filmed the outdoor scenes of that movie. In fact, they have a museum and a gift shop there now. You can get the full sized lamp, desk lamp, night light or ornament sized lamps.

If you are unfortunate enough to be in Cleveland, I would strongly recommend a visit to the house. It was an awful lot of fun and it is actually right by the airport.

When I was there, Randy was the one giving the tours!

The kid that stuck his tongue to the pole (who also starred in The Toy w/ Richard Pryor) went into hardcore porn later in his life. I don't have his entire collection or anything. Just looked him up this year on IMDB because I couldn't recall where I had seen him before...IT WAS IN THE TOY PERVS. I also thought he was the kid in the Disney movie about the kid who gets in a spaceship and gets abducted...kind of. Think it was called Flight of the Navigator or something. Different kid tho.

And I am totally going on the Christmas Story tour when I'm in Cleveland for my niece's wedding.:cool:
