Isn't Stoops like 77-2 @ home? We don't appreciate the home wins enough here. Easily, this has to be the hardest place to come and get a W in college football.

Oh yeah, Whorns lost more home games this season than Stoops lost in his whole career @ home;) . :texan:

The two losses weren't even to good teams, were they?

TCU went 11-1 that year. That was the first game w/ PT and Bomar. OU wasn't very good that year...especially early on. Got better late. TCU lost the very next game to SMU. Ok State...not so much.

The North Alaska Narwhals have a way better advantage.

The University of Phoenix has never lost in their stadium.

It's the easiest place to win from my point of view. Like 77 wins out of 79 tries.

One of the most difficult places to win is in Austin. Ask any Horn.

What I find interesting is that the so-called "tough crowds" don't necessarily translate to home victories. Everyone has heard about how rough it is to win at The Swamp, for instance. But Florida lost three games there this year. But almost no one mentions Owen Field as a tough place to play.

Someone should tell ESPN that stadiums with loud and obnoxious fans don't necessarily translate into tough places to play. See Kyle Field and Darrell K Royal.

I don't think DKR is necessarily loud.

I think the proof is in a team's won/loss record at home. Someone pleeze tell the NCAA and ESPN hacks.
