If D1 of FBS has a playoff they would drag it out as well. AA dosnt bring in TV dollars.

Four fanbases in one city at the same time would be a mess. Hopefully the Cotton is added to the rotation and it goes back to being done early but I doubt it.

lol the Oregon players will have started classes for about a week already by the time they play in the championship game. Apparently they have to attend a study lab in a tent until the game.

Ha, that's funny!

Quacks and probably some of the other west coast teams don't start their fall term until near the end of September so most years they have played 3 games before they've even gone to class.

Thats true, but they pay for it in the postseason. Who wants to study the week before playing a bowl game? And much less the week before you're playing for the national championship!

They removed the sod and replaced it and you don't do that in two days plus all the signage that had to change from the Fiesta Bowl. Now small task to change out the concession stands either. Then they do not play on the weekend because of the NFL so that stretches it out even more especially with January 1st following on a Saturday.

The morning news mentioned that the NFL was scheduled to start prepping Jerry's World for the Super Bowl this morning. They mentioned the number of trailer's scheduled to arrive - around 20, if I remember correctly. That's a lot of stuff to move.
