Was Crocs trying to say that stuff so that they could corner the Medical Staff/Surgical Staff Market? It seems to me that a lot of folks in medicine wore those for awhile. My thoughts were that yes they are comfortable....but they offer no support and if you were to wear them 8+ hours a day on tile, marble or concrete floors over your career....you'd probably be crippled.

So, where exactly does it say Crocs was lying? Unsubstantiated does not mean false. That article simply says they have not been tested by the EPA and are therefore not allowed to market themselves as anti-microbial.
