I think they quickly realized that they were making a BIG mistake, going from a high five to somber attitude within five seconds.

I don't care what a coach's golden parachute looks like - when a coach leaves, often the people he's brought in go also, from assistant coaches to personal secretaries to practice squad/marginal players that the coach likes but others may not.

This was a really bad thing to do. :(

One can only wonder at the amount of coffee that would have gushed from their noses if a death by concussion had been announced. On a more serious note......

The on-air high-five, setting a new standard in journalistic integrity since 2011.
Kind of hard to equate ESPN with "journalistic integrity" since Disney bought them.
