Door Mat

Today, for the first time in my life, I bought a texass trademarked item. Yes, sir. I laid down that $15 at the Home Depot and purchased a whiney orange door mat. Now, every time I walk into or out of my house I can wipe my boots on the bevo logo.

I got inspired by the former CEO of Miller Brewing Company that had an A-B door mat.

There's a gentleman here in Osage County who has an absolutely beautiful spring display of some yellow and white flowers (jonquils?). When you back off about 50 feet it reads, "Texas Sucks".
I'm generally in awe of such forward planning and will make a point to photograph it when it comes up this spring.
And UT gets nary a dime.

Most items are licensed on a flat-fee basis based on the item and large ranges of production. So there's not necessarily a per-item royalty.

Now if you put the door mat in front of the toilet and your aim is off sometimes, that might be better. You could still wipe your feet on it.

You know, I'm not buying a TX door mat, but to criticize you for subsidizing UT is a little lame. How much are they going to pocket from a $15 sale? About a buck is my guess.
