The posters in here have been far nicer to her than the other boards. Those people should be ashamed of themselves. College rivalries are one thing; dragging an innocent girl through the mud over a college rivalry is quite another. There is no need for it.

Yes, I think the ladies who serve on our pom and cheer squad should be concerned about their appearance. Yes, I think the spirit organization should talk to those who could use some advice. But don't come in here and think you are doing anyone, or the university, any good by ridiculing her. It is nothing more than mean-spirited gossip.

I am not sure what happened to people. It used to be that some sensitivity was displayed when it came to talking about the personal appearance of others. Sure things would be said in private, but somehow the Internet has made it open season on anyone that dares stand in front of a camera.

Now we even post pics of little kids crying. I seriously wonder if there is no level to which we will stoop to ridicule people.
