TW:

3. Wyatt did alright for himself at OU, mainly because he helped recruit Adrian Peterson to Norman.

Bob Stoops and Cale Gundy should get some credit for that as well. But it was Wyatt who struck it rich with the idea to visit Peterson's then-incarcerated father and strike up a relationship with him.

"I knew that his dad was very influential," Wyatt once told SI.com. "I thought we should use our one off-campus visit to see his dad, so I said, 'Coach Stoops, we need to go visit his father.' 'Set that up,' he said."

Wyatt has had MANY jobs. If he does well enough down at the cows, maybe we will hire him back.

I wonder why he left Oklahoma? Was he hired away to the NFL or just land there? He has had some good jobs but he doesn't look like he always leaves for a better job. But just being employed every year with that many changes is a good sign that he is probably a good coach. Also a good sign he might not be there long.

From KU Athletics.

He did a heck of a job while he was here. I hope he has far less success in Austin.
