Again, I say too much emphasis is made in bowl games to determine the best conference.

It is just 1 game... KSU salutes and Mizzou loses by 3 points.
NC beat Tennessee thankful for replay....

The BIG EAST and the ACC are looking like the best conference right now.

Which most of us know is some BS. Every now and then a Conference is going to have a Team have a good run. Our Conference has had multiple Teams with good runs. Even though they would take each other out during the season....we'd still send a bunch of Teams to a Bowl. As many as we send...It's possible to have a bad year as a Conference during the Bowl Season. Thankfully :mack: kept his Team at Home this year so he didn't add to it again. :D

I know that Bowls don't really tell you much about conferences. The layoff makes that impossible.

And these bowl games are all about matchups. Unless two conferences decide to play a series of matchups during the season so that a legitimate comparison can be made, these conference comparisons based solely on bowl records are bogus.

The PAC-10 went 5-0 a few years back and I know they were not the best conference in the nation that year.

The Sun Belt has a better bowl record than the SEC!! SO I guess in some people's logic the Sun Belt > SEC.

I think I heard a "raider...power" chant on the tube, similar to our "boomer...sooner" chant. It sounded like ****! If you know any tech fans, ask them to stop it.

The PAC 10 plays down in bowls, so them going 5-0 doesn't mean as much as the SEC, who usually plays even or up. Yes, more games with less layoff would tell us more, but bowl games represent a large fraction of OOC games between BCS conference teams, so they do tell us something.
