When did camouflage become an option to wear in public?

Only hunters wear camouflage and only when they are hunting, on their way to hunting, and on their way home from hunting.



Nowadays, I have heard people starting to call it "camo." Now, I realize that "flage" is incredibly hard to say and that society is so fast-paced that we need to shorten everything we can, but come on!

Oh so sorry to disappoint the fashion nazis, but I will be wearing my OU crocs to the game today. I am in an ankle brace and can actually get my foot in them.

That's why I always wear my Medic Alert bracelet whenever I go to the Walmarts. I always punch in 911 on my cell phone before I even get there. Then, I hit "send" whenever I start feeling that stroke coming on. :D
