Just another sign of how well respected OU football is at ESPN.

Oh, I don't think it's lack of respect for OU that drives this. It's more basic: the talking heads at ESPN simply don't respect themselves enough to do a professional job.
They are lazy fools who don't care whether they have their facts straight or have done their homework. The product they turn out is slipshod crap. To expect more from them is to delude oneself.

Just more of a sign of how poor ESPN has become overall.

The thing about writing sports.....it doesn't make you an on air expert. You can't go back and edit your comments.....lol

I expect and get nothing from ESPN other than the ability to watch some games. Their commentary is generally useless. When you have an idiot at ESPN saying that he's surprised about Texas' bad season because everyone's used to seeing the Big 12 championship go through Austin, it shows that either they're ignorant or pushing an agenda. I suspect it's the latter which I actually don't mind - what I do mind is pushing an agenda using demonstrably false information.

E-spin doesn't report news. They're in the business of creating news.

Putzes.
