So I'm stuck in Calgary for the game and not sure where to watch. I was told that if a hockey match is on football won't be. Anyone been here or live here now?

I am fortunate enough to have a tv in my hotel room but I'm looking for a little more excitement than that.

If you're downtown Calgary, then Flames Central is the place to be:

But, it's true. If hockey is on, it'll control. And, considering it's saturday night, I'm betting Hockey Night In Canada will be on. It's a huge Canadian tradition. But, there are so many screens there, I'm sure you can get it on one of them.

So exactly where in Oklahoma is the quaint little berg known as "Calgary?"

I forgot. Another good option will be the Keg Steakhouse & Bar at the Westin Hotel on 4th. Great food there, btw.

My pleasure. I'm originally from Montreal, and know Calgary well. Was last there in March, but have been multiple times.

Isn't Calgary basically the Oklahoma City of Canada? Maybe that will give you some luck.

To some extent, that's a good comparison.

Except the 70 degrees difference in temps today.

Ohhhh come on now, I really like Calgary although I did almost freeze to death (that is an entirely different level of cold)

Yes, winter in Alberta is like nowhere else I know. Russia is worse, I guess.

I haven't been there for several years but there used to be a Hooters on Macleod Trail north of Chinook Center that had a bunch of TVs. Maybe if told them Yukon is playing they will switch it for you.

Right north of it is a Holiday Inn that has a bar that would tune it in if there isn't a big Hockey Crowd. Used to be about 10,000 Americans working in Calgary at any given time, most of them from Oklahoma or Texas.

If you are downtown you can go to Bankers Hall East or West. There are tons of oil companies in those towers. Albertans are very nice. Explain your dilemma someone will help you.
