1) The big XII teams have proven totally incapable of stopping the run in bowl games, nor have they run the ball well.

2) We play a running team

3) Our run defense was crap-tacular in the OOC (at least Cinci and AF)

The good news is that Neb and OK St. had good rush offenses that we held in check at the end of the year.

Players throw their hands up every weekend after scoring a touchdown and there's nothing called but when a player salutes and turns back to his teammates that's a flag? There's absolutely no excuse for that flag. I didn't score many TD's in college but everytime I threw my hands up and there was never a flag. Next thing you know they'll flag it when you take a knee in the endzone.

In a situation like that they usually give a warning especially in a critical time of the game. The refs ultimately decided the game. They treated this like its basketball. Those Big Ten refs probably picked Cuse in their bowl pick em. :D
