STEP, who do you think the Broncos will go after. They could really use a DB and LB so I was thinking that they will go after those two positions first.

And thats pretty typical of them..they like to load up on picks and then trade them for a quality FA

They have Tebow. That's all they need.

I for one and hoping for Tebow to succeed. He's a hardworker that seems to have a good character. I know ESPN way over promoted him but I would really like to see him do well

There is going to be some quality LBs available later in the draft so if they keep that early pick, I would probably guess that Patrick Peterson from LSU would be their guy...

6'1, 220 lb..corner..that is scary...He can match up physically with anybody and has good turn and go hips....

I am hoping my Cowboys can get 2 solid secondary guys and an Offensive linemen in the first few rounds. I figure they would most likely want peterson from LSU but he will be off the board by the time they pick. Maybe Amukamara in the first round

I'm a pats fan and i want them to get a legit rb...based on step's rankings they could get mark ingram which would make me happy...I think they should go de, olb, wr, OL and rb would like to see them add depth to the secondary as well.

last mock draft I saw the pats got...de bailey from miami, wr floyd from notre dame, nate solder OL from colorado, jeremy beal moving to OLB from OU and williams the rb from virginia tech. that's not necessarily the order they got them in.

When a team picks Tebow in the first round, anything is possible.

Hey STEP, of the receivers that should be available at St. Louis' pick, what WR do you think would be the best fit?

I wouldn't be surprised that if they kept if they end up picking at 21, they took a chance with Blackmon....

But I tell you a guy that they could use if he comes out is Jonathan Baldwin from Pitt..6'5 225 a down the field threat

Bengals:

1. DE- Mr. Bowers would look nice here. Dunlap (stole him in the 2nd rd. last year) has 8 sacks, which is 2nd most by a rookie this year behind Suh. No other Bengal has 3.

2. OL- most notably OG (Bobbie's getting a little long in the tooth) & C (Rich Braham, where have you gone), but you don't use #3 on those positions.

3. a ballhawking safety. I'm kind of hoping that his little mixup at UNC pushes Williams into the 2nd/3rd round, but I'm not holding my breath. Should we happen to trade down (which, given history is unlikely), I wouldn't be against Rahim Moore in the lower half of the 1st.

12/31/2010, 08:19 AM
Yeah, that Baldwin could be gold for the Rams. I love Danario Alexander's performance WHEN he plays, but that knee has had a lot of work done on it. Aside from that they have great needs at OLB and OG.

I never hear how Clayton's rehab is going. I'm sure the Rams would love to have him back but it depends on his progress.

stoops the eternal pimp
1/3/2011, 10:24 AM
The biggest knock on Baldwin and why he isn't a 1s tier WR in a lot of people's eyes is his attitude...Watching film on the guy, the thing that stands out the most is his loafing around on the field...its like he is just out there to catch and if the ball doesn't come his way, he isn't gonna do anything

SunnySooner
1/3/2011, 12:33 PM
Count on the Jags to make another early pick of some dude no one ever heard of to play a position that will have absolutely no impact whatsoever. I really wish we could get a new QB, Garrard is a nice man, but just way too inconsistent.

FrostySooner

After watching the Sugar Bowl tonight, I don't think Mallett is a top 5 athlete coming out of college. He has a great arm but his mobility is awful. He also seems to panic during heavy rushes. I am pretty sure he will face a lot better defenses in the NFL then the Buckeye defense. Some people are saying that he reminds them of Big Ben. I personally think he has a better upside of turning into the next Ryan Leaf. That's who he reminds me of. JMO

Guys after thinking about this, we could see another record year of declarations....Why?

a CBA will probably include a rookie cap that will not begin until 2012...With rookies taking a chance this year on leaving early, I would bet that the league will give them one more uncapped year
