Thought I'd take a chance and see if anyone here knows.
When looking up at the transmission lines that run from pole to pole there is one line by itself that runs along much lower(closer to the ground) than the others. Is that the cable or telephone line?

Yep. Your lower power lines are always down there. High power needs to be as far away from us humans as possible.

So to clarify, that line is for both?

and I don't plan on climbing but if I can wreck enough of them around my neighborhood, maybe they will just replace them with FO.

(Disclaimer for the cable company: This was a joke and I do not intend on participating in destroying any lines around my neighborhood);)
