Well, this thread did cause me to dig up my bowl contest sheet... I picked toledo for some reason. Need them to win to break even...:rolleyes: ...don't know why I bother...

I picked Toledo solely based on the fact that they have been to a bowl game before. IDGAS really.

This is one of those "whogivesa****.com" bowls that make me wish there were 10 or 12 less bowl games.

Turned out to be a great finish. Pretty exciting 2nd half if you ignore the school names on the jerseys

4th and 17 between the 40s. Under a minute left.

I tell my dad. When this was Boise, they ran the hook-and-ladder and ended up winning.

2 seconds later....FIU runs the hook-and-ladder. I tell him, this game is over.

FIU gets into FG range and kicks the game-winner.

The coach just told the reporter after the game that he calls that play "The Boise".

on that trick play #3 for Toledo took a terrible angle... grrr...lost another bowl on my contest...
