It’s difficult to define Ali Harter as a local singer-songwriter. When the Oklahoma City native isn’t performing for hushed crowds in Bricktown or the Paseo Art District then she’s packing venues throughout France....
No matter where Harter’s music takes her next, one thing is certain—she’s an Oklahoman. The state lives in her songs and on the tattoos lining her arms. Inked in cursive on her left wrist, above an outline of Oklahoma, you’ll find the word “Oklahomey.” Looks like she’s enjoying her stay.
