An old friend came by and took me to lunch and we went to Billy Sims BBQ. Sign says if you buy a 3 meat Dinner or more you can go to the Sports Fanatic around the Corner and Billy will sign a free Autograph or something....

Anyway...we dropped in to just say hello. Billy was in great spirits and I told him I hadn't seen him at the Heisman Deal and he said he was with Marcus Dupree during that. We talked about the 30 on 30 show and shared a couple of stories. He looks in great shape. Anyway....Good Times.

I've only been to Norman once in my life, but I am impressed about how the stories I hear from people on this board about how open the former athletes are to just start conversations with the fans. I really hope I can make that trip again in the near future.

They were out of turkey and the new stuff wasn't ready yet so I went with the Brisket, Chicken and a Hot Link. Hot Sauce is really good.

Haha - that Fanatic in Tulsa is LOADED with billy autographed stuff. Every Tradition 8 t-shirt is signed (and I don't think they upped the price). The bobleheads I think are all signed too last time I was in there.

Took the kids for lunch today. They're having PBnJs and I'm eating the Option again today. Pulled Pork, Smoked Turkey and a Hot Link. We have the ball Steve Owens signed for us this year so after lunch we're gonna see if Billy will sign it too. Good Times!

I have to say that the chicken is good but the turkey is a bit better. If I go again I'm gonna get the pulled pork, Turkey and a hot link again but if they are ever out of turkey ....I'm gonna try the bologna too.

I'm thinking I might see about buying a smoked turkey for get togethers. Saw where it was $39.99 for a ham. I think we're gonna get one for New Years so we'll have it for breakfast lunch and Dinner. :D
