Three hole...Chrysler?

I see these stick-on adornments on all types of vehicles that are usually being driven by black folks. The only cool vehicle on the planet that has these ports stock is the Maserati Quattroporte. The others are all chariots for the dying, Buicks.

So what's the deal here?

this. if you put flames on it, that adds about 10 hp. the 20inch chrome wheels, have the effect of a supercharger

We have some of teh Buicks for company cars. Someone told me if there's three of them it means it's a six cylinder. If there's four of them it means it's an eight cylinder.

I don't know of any other car manufacturers that do this.

in the old days,only "roadmasters" had 4 holes, for some years.
they were all straights. in 53, "specials" had straight 8s & rest were v-8s.

in 54 & 55, all were 4-holers except specials. special had 264 v-8 & the rest were 322 v-8s.

in 56, i think they all had 322s & only special was 3-holer.

this is all strictly from the memory of an "old-timer".
