Broadway 'Spider-Man' Actor Injured in Fall


NEW YORK -- The troubled Broadway musical "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" was plagued by its fourth accident since it began previews last month when an actor performing an aerial stunt fell about 30 feet, fire officials said.

Firefighters were called to the Foxwoods Theatre at about 10:45 p.m. Monday after the 31-year-old actor fell near the end of the latest preview performance. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries, police said.

It is amazing how popular they got and the years of the Band staying together is quite amazing too. It's difficult to imagine any band these days pulling off such a run. I think they've had a few decent songs over the last few years but as far as a decent album....they havnet had one since Joshua Tree.

I know Spiderman was successful in theaters, but will it translate well to musical theatre? Why does Windows insist that THEATRE with the R before the E is a misspelled word?

In any event, a lot of modern musicals have been modern crap. Enjoyed Wicked though

The video I saw of the actors in this one showed some Cirque type swinging activity that looked very impressive but dangerous so I'd say if they don't kill anyone it might be a really cool show.
