Highlights so far:

- Favre hobbles a pass to a pot-hazed Harvin for a TD! HOPE!

- Cutler sucks, but Vike D sucks more. Slightly less hope.

- Favre does what Favre does best: throw to the other team. HOPE IS DEAD.

- Field goal! Hope lives!

- 1st and 30! Fail horn sounds! Hope thrives!

- Touchdown, idiots. No hope.

Farve got bearhugged and slammed into the hockey rink they are playing on.

Joe Webb played the last series.

Maybe if we beat the Grunts and the Burrs we can get a wild card spot. Boo!

Bud Grant gets honored at age 80-something, and he goes out there in shirt sleeves. It's the Vikings' best move of the night. It's enough to make a grown man get all misty eyed.

Hester sets a record. Minny fans cry, and boo.

Except Nostradamus wouldn't have kicked a line drive to Hester.

True. He definitely would have better foresight.

If the Bears win and then beat the Wa Wa Pack. They sweep their division and the Bears aren't that good. So please Shush Pack fans.

Not even upset for my Pack. They were good enough to win the Superbowl and screwed it up big time, we deserve what happens this season, hopefully this will be a wake-up call so that we may be ready next year.

Thanks for not playing Peterson, Vikings. I only needed SIX STINKIN' POINTS to go on to the championship game in my fantasy football league.

I had Sidney Rice and my opponent had AD. I was behind by 3 points going into last night. Sidney Rice got 2.....

I went from first place in my fantasy league and have lost both of my playoff games by a grand total of 4 points.....

This comment is funny, because NP posted this last night, not me. I was too busy calling their defensive loser "d00shbag" to bother with message boards at the beginning of the game :D

You'll get yours, teddy bear. Duke hangs banners when the AP votes them #1 during the regular season. That's what I think of your divisional championship right now - a meaningless banner that will not get you any closer to your second Super Bowl title.

Sour grapes are purple, not green. We're still gonna go wild cardin' and then we'll give you the home loss we owe you from earlier this season.

Bear down you sucky bears. You'll get what's coming to you.

At least we still have a shot at making the playoffs with half our team injured. The burrs last year? Not so much.

Was definitely cool to see Minnesota play and outdoor home game. Props to Favre for giving it a shot and playing on what was probably very little practice time. With that said though I'm not sure I want any part of the Bears come playoff time. Their defense is strong and a healthy Urlacher and the acquistion of Peppers has definitely paid off. The Mike Martz offense is starting to produce now as well.

Does this mean Lovie gets to keep his job again. He was all but out the door after this season, but if they do wel in the playoffs, what happens then?

OULenexaman
12/21/2010, 11:58 AM
That's the real sour grapes of it all right there.....friggin Lovie gets a stay of execution....how many other HC's have ZERO duties except the red flag thingy??.and 90% of the time he can't get that right.

rekamrettuB

NFC is a toss up right now. Lot of really good teams this year. Philly, Giants, Chicago, NOLA, and my Falcons. Atlanta can fall from 1 seed to 5th seed really fast. NOLA can climb the same and become 1 seed too. Chicago's offense is ranked 30th...that's incredible.

12/21/2010, 12:44 PM
The reason I think the Packers get a wildcard is because their two final games are Giants (the current last-team-in) and da Bears. It stings to lose to Detroit the way we did - Awon Wodgers gowing down with injuwy... *tear* but losses sometimes make teams stronger. After all, we nearly beat the Patriots on the road with a backup QB that never started in the pros before and fourth string tight end.

For Tommie's sake, I hope he either gets a new team or a new coach. Or, if he was planning to retire soon on his own accord, that would be a good option too. However, Coach Lovie just doesn't seem to like Tommie so eff him, Tommie's a Sooner, and if Lovie doesn't love Tommie, screw Lovie, regardless of how much Chi Chi's winning.

btw, Phil was getting continually pwn3d last night, but kudos for not wearing ***** sleeves like most of the Vikes last night. Bawww, is it too cold for you outside?? Still, wish Loadholt had a better night :(

Seeing AD on the sidelines was sad, but understandable. That field was d@mn slick, players sliding everywhere. Don't want another broken collarbone :(

my bro-in-law is tired of shoveling snow.

Do what my parents did - have two kids and assign them the snow shoveling chore.

Brotip: When there's snow shoveling to do, start doing an indoor chore, like baking bread with a bread maker, something that takes hours, thus relegating all snow shoveling to little sister

your bro do that to you ????

my bro-in-law will soon have to hire someone, he's 77. never had to shovel it in mojave desert, where they lived for 51 yrs.

does a snow-plow make it easy enuff for a 77 yr. old ??

badger
12/21/2010, 02:56 PM
Recommend your bro-in-law find a kid to take care of it. Kids want money and they are fairly cheap labor.

Snowtip: Snow plows do not eliminate snow, they push it elsewhere. Thus, when the snow plow goes by your house, it becomes a billion times harder to snowblow/shovel the end of your driveway from all the crap the plow pushes into your drive.
