Need a quick bit of help...

My wife, a flute player, is going nuts trying to remember Boomer Sooner. What are the first 4 notes of the melody line, corresponding to the words Boomer Sooner? I only know the tuba part, which is as easy as breathing.

Thanks.

trumpets had it easy - everything key of C! :D

Which means flutes would be in the get of B-flat, so make sure all your E's and B's are flat when playing through it.

woodwinds are insignificant in marching band. The notes do not matter :)

She must've played in the mid-late 90s. Not many opportunities to play Boomer.

Is this really a thread, or am I just up too late and delusional?

I would hope so... Your wife has a first four notes. You have four notes total repeated over and over.

bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop.
bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop.
bop. bop. bop bop bop-bop-bop.
bop. bop. bop-da-bop boooooooop, bop-bop-bop.
