I realize stars are meaningless when given to HS football players, but I just happen to notice that their recruiting class surpassed ours on Rivals.com. One thing worth noticing, is how terrifying this James Wilder guy is, pure freak!

Next years game will be a treat for sure if any of these frosh get some playing time. Good thing they will be really green when we play them so early in the season!

"Terrifying?" Exactly what does that mean?

Just a quick google search for terrifying.

Also, this qualifies as "pure freak".

That Wilder guy is pretty good. I saw him play a game on tv. Then again, Reid was supposed to be all-world and he didn't do crap against us.

James Wilder is a good player but he is nowhere near "terrifying." I think he'd be a better LB at the college level but he'll play RB at FSU. FWIW, I watched 2 games on TV of his HS (Plant) and they lost both games...

Yes, all the true freshman Florida State sign in February are going to come in an dominate us the second game of next season.

More than likely very few of them play at all except special teams. This recruiting class will have little or no impact on the game next year.

In 2 years that FSU team should be top 5 with the coaching and talent they have brought in.

Two things worth noticing:

1. They have 21 guys in their class and will take a full 25. We have 17. The more guys you have in your class, the higher your "ranking". Thus, you could have 24 two and three star guys and be higher ranked than a team with 9 five star guys.

2. FSU has oversigned by 8 (they have 13 seniors). We've oversigned by 3. You figure there's going to be some attrition every year (juniors leaving, etc.), but EIGHT? Of course, that's nowhere near as bad as the SECheat, where Satan, Mad Fatter, and Busta Nutt go and sign 28 guys with only 11 seniors. Satan has made a mockery of the recruiting process, essentially running Alabama like an NFL team. Star Jackson was their prized QB recruit a few years ago, then said, "I want to get more PT" and transferred ... to Georgia State ... where he is THIRD string. You think he wanted more PT or Satan told him, "You're not panning out - I don't want you. Just go."

Is this James Wilder related to the James Wilder who played for Mizzou and later the Creamsicle clad Bucs?
