Hmmm. Both my babies survived that kinda crib. I guess they're just bad a**es.

Of course, I hardly ever actually lowered it. My girl was so tiny, I would always just pick her up, and monkey-boy could climb in and out by his 1st birthday, so it wasn't an issue. I could see where they would break and cause owies, though.

You'd think by now we humans would have figured out a safe place to put our kids to sleep. Maybe the hippies with the "family beds" have it right, who knows.

All 3 of my kids were placed in the same crib,I've still got it. The Main thing is the Working Parts were Metal not plastic .

Yeah, this decision has been a long time coming.

In the seven years I've been a parent, two of the cribs and one bassinette that we had were recalled because of this type of hazard.

We just took the side off.A baby can handle rolling out of bed. We just put pillows on the floor.

First kid made it through no issues, number 2 is almost too big for it. I never drop the side. I have very long arms.
