I'll second that. Actually the duck-feather trim on the shoulders is probably the best design idea they've come up with in several years, but then there's a lot of room under that umbrella. Most are downright ugly.

That neon socks idea is dreadful. At least they'll be easy to find if Auburn has to resort to biting.

Tend to agree that the silver and white looks very sharp, but the yellow is horrific and personally I think the wings/feathers/whatever look stupid (although not NEARLY the eyesore that is the neon yellow).

The UO lack of traditional uniforms has become their tradition. I like it - but wouldn't want it for OU, we already have tradition. As with anything that changes so quickly, there is going to be some hit and miss. I definitely like the wings better than the treadmarks.

btw, don't look now but we might get new unis for the bowl as well. I've seen similar announcements for Florida, Boise State and TCU to get new bowl duds. We might get those weird see-through pants too. Meh.

I'm just saying that Nike's announced bowl unis for other teams on its Nike roster too and as a Nike school, we might be getting similar duds... not neon, of course, but similar to what they're throwing out for other schools, which is

1- Tons of see-through material, especially below the belt
2- Shiny new shoes in team colors
3- Everything else the same, unless you're a mid-major or owned by Phil Knight.

I think Nike announced that only those schools are getting new uniforms, which are basically just Pro Combat uniforms but without as much weirdness.

That color is chosen for the emergency vehicles because the human eye is sensitive to it - so is that color flashing in the peripheral vision going to be distracting to Auburn?

Middle-aged white guy here... most of the time I find UO's unis to be abominable. This one isn't so bad, except for the awful socks. I actually liked the combo they wore in the Civil War.
