Manning now has the longest streak at 205. He's about 6 years from catching Favre.

I saw something on ESPN today and the Bears have had 23 starting QBs since the streak began. Something like 180 different head coaches in the NFL. 4 presidents.

He went one year too long. Last year he was spectacular.
I guess I understand why some people can't stand Favre, but he's a tremendous quarterback and he is definitely a tough player. My hat's off to him.

I understand that, but I don't know that any of his post-Packer career was wroth it. It completely changed his legacy.

I'm gonna miss Favre. I don't care much for what the NFL has become but Favre was still one of the parts that was good for me.
