I would be really surprised if Major left for Florida. After all he could be the next HCIW.

a tweet??? you think a f*cking tweet is enough evidence to make people think you have credibilty. i could have posted that Bear Bryant would not be the next florida coach and had more credibility than that.

apparently not everyone loves tweets.

Even though there wasn't much football action today, it's still shaping up very nicely lol.

I don't get this. He wasn't good enough to be OC at Texas, and Texas really had a low bar to overcome.

Man, it's bad enough when the Head Coach in Waiting leaves, but if he takes the stud QB away from his alma mater, that's almost sad enough to not be funny.

Not quite though.

Good for Applewhite. Must be tired of getting the shaft at Whorn land.

Applewhite spent some years away from Mack, he went to Syracuse with Greg Robinson as the QB Coach (2005), then to Rice as OC (2006) and Saban hired him at Bama as OC (2007) before heading back to Texas as Associate Head Coach and QB Coach.

I don't think the money people behind the coaching purge at UT would accept Major as the OC, they want wholesale changes across the board. So I would imagine he would move to Florida if offered by Muschamp and will not be offered the position by Mack.

there is just a tiny difference between a reputable sports magazine/journalist/sports reporter tweeting a story and an 18 yr old message board reader doing it. that was my thought behind the post you quoted . you put a screenshot of YOUR tweet up as your evidence,. that was what i took issue with.

Yeah, but for the fanbase, that's a real kick in the balls. It's kind of like if Josh Heupel left us for a similar position elsewhere.

Applewhite loves that school so much and they still won't give him a chance to prove himself. They didn't give him a chance when he was a QB, and won't give him a chance as OC.
