Heard on CBS today that Norvell is a top 3 candidate for the Pitt job along with Al Golden, and Holgorsen. Was wondering if anyone else had heard that

You think that maybe you were the only one watching CBS at that moment?

What I meant to write was if the rumor had anything of substance along with it.

I like Norvell and all, but at this point Holgerson is a much more proven commodity.

Norvell is probably a backup plan at best.

Norvell certainly has more experience than DH, being with Nebraska and UCLA as well as time in the NFL. But I think DH is a more likely choice. On his radio show Friday, Trabor insisted that DH had been in Pittsburg recently.

I like Norvell a lot and hope Stoops can keep him on staff.
Last year we were plagued with drops and he decided to leave the booth, move down to the sidelines and start making the receivers catch a billion tennis balls throughout fall camp and regular practices...
The result??
Cam Kenney redeems himself, a true frosh breaks OU records, Broyles re-writes the record books,we loose DeJuan and everyone, including a walk-on TE, steps up big time.
Norvell to OC!
...
Fire Norvell!
