I can only imagine how moving this was for our fellow Americans.

Homey, I totally agree. I have been to several hockey games in Canada and even though it is just Canada, there is nothing like having The Star Spangled Banner playing to realize how lucky you really are and how proud I am to be an American. Cool video!

Tear to my eye every time I stopped to salute the National Anthem in Korea, Germany and Afghanistan.

I just wanted to bump this thread due to the anniversary of those events and the anthem being played in England coming up this weekend.

Hear it every mornin'......Occasionally the french try to drown it out by launching a couple Mirage fighters...but what sounds better than fighter jets taking off during the Anthem.....anyways, pretty soon it will be F-15s taking flight kicking arse.

It's an almost tribal feeling. And by that, I mean in a very, very good way.

I saw it played in Great Britain during one of the 9/11 shows yesterday. I don't know if it was recorded in 2001 or was recent, but it was very moving.
