Sean Patrick Bowley:
Take this for what it's worth. Trumbull coach Bob Maffei's son Bobby, who's an undergraduate offensive assistant at Nebraska, said he thinks -- if J. Todman can play as well as he's played all season -- the Huskies will have a shot at keeping up. He wasn't sold on the Oklahoma defense (Nebraska lost 23-20 last week.

Of course, UConn isn't Nebraska but...

Just read this on a chat, please someone look at the stats (of the BIG12 title game) and see which D looks suspect from the numbers.

Wonder what it would take to sell him on our defense. The guy sounds brilliant.

Didn't NU have about 80 yards of offense in the second half? That's right about the time you just sit still and STFU.

Our D was pretty darn tough against Nebraska in the second half. We do, at times, give up some big runs. YouCons do have a big OLine that can run block pretty well. They also have a 1600 yard RB.

Not saying they can run all over us but they do know how to run the ball and pound away. I think they will be a little out of their League against our O. They have a good coach that isn't going to lay down. I think they will be ready to play. I also think you can expect to see every trick play you ever heard of.
