From what I can gather, each team selects a designate NFL Man of the Year.

All of these players are then Nominated for the trophy that bears the name of Walter Payton, and it is based on off the field community programs and on the field excellence.

He is the designate for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Definitely an honor for TRRW.

The only other nominee that has been named to this point is the Tennessee Titans representative.

I believe Roy will finish ahead of their guy.

They selected Cortland Finnegan:pop:

It will be narrowed to 3 finalists prior to the Super Bowl.

Man, his plixi account is comedy and feel-good gold. Talking trash to OchoCinco after beating him in words-with-friends, signing stuff for kids.

I get the honor to work with Roy from time to time. He's involved fairly heavily in one of the charities that we work with. In fact, he's now invovled with RAM & Pros for Africa on an even bigger level.

He's got a great heart for people and is really down to earth. It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. For those that don't know, he's moving back to Oklahoma this year. He plans to run for office in the near future.

It's the coats that are available to players on the sideline, or used to be, when it's colder than a witch's tit.

Now he can make the big bucks.
