Street Agents

What exactly are street agents and what role do they play in recruiting. I've heard a lot of programs say that we use street agents in Texas and that's why we've landed some of the people we have. I've seen other teams get blasted for using them also. Is it just sour grapes from other programs or what?

Mostly it involves handjobs, meth, and Steel Reserve High Gravity Malt Liqour.

They are almost always in basketball or an uncle of some good player.

Caught my attention mostly because Stoops is mentioned, and the guy they focus on is out of Wichita.

Okie State supposedly has a guy in Houston kinda like the one mentioned in the article. I don't know much about it but he is the one supposedly paying for the ads in the Airport down there and whatnot.

I think in the near future you are going to see the NCAA get involved with this. While they can't control or stop people from doing this they can take action against the athletes and schools that participate/have participated.
