I think it's "Beef O'Brady" which doesn't sound like something I would eat any more than the O'Grady version.

I was kind of hoping the 5-7 Longhorns would play in the Beef O'Brady Bowl. That would have been the perfect slap in the face for a pampered and spolied fan base.

We have a Beef O'Brady's where I live. They have two good points. One is that each table and booth has its own tv monitor that they'll put on any game you want. The other is the tower of beer. The tower has a tap on the bottom and holds the equivalent of two pitchers. Priced about the same as two pitchers at most sports bars.

The drawback is the food. None of it is really any good. If you want to just get out and watch some sports and down a few brews, it's a good deal, but plan to eat elsewhere.

Out of curiosity I checked out what it takes to buy a Beef O'Bradys: $35,000 francise fee. Operator must have $150,000 in liquid assets available.

This place sounds like a glorified hot dog stand named after a product evoking visions of canned Dinty Moore Stew.

I know that the Gulf Coast Sooners have their watch parties at a Beef O'Brady's near Mobile Bay. They evidently have a pretty decent turnout, but I've never driven over there. Ya gotta give BO'B props just for that if nothing else.

We have one in Pearland, been there a couple of times. It is ok. I would say it is better than Applebee's, but yeah, that ain't saying much.

huh, never heard of it, I am a fan of this though:

Actually if its like every other bowl game, it doesn't matter if they win or lose...Each team gets $1 mil...Once that is split between conference members, it doesn't look so awesome.
