…break Josh Huepel's 1999 record for most attempts in a season (553). Landry rests at 527. He needs just 2 completions to break Huepel's completion record of 349, also in the 1999 season.

Well he'll break the completions for sure and probably the attempts as well.

The new OC is switching to the 'bone and LJ won't get either record.

If Heupel is calling plays at the Bowl...expect us to rely on Murray and Finch a lot. At the post-game presser, Heupel will throw KW under the bus:

"Well, I sometimes browse through Soonerfans.com message board, and I saw that a common criticism of KW was that he didn't adjust in-game. I thought I would take that criticism and run with it; why not make major adjustments pre-bowl? So that's why we had 0 passing attempts tonight."

I can remember Josh's first game against Indiana State. By the end of the third quarter he had thrown more passes than Thomas Lott did the entire 1977 season! :)

Apparently you havent been reading SF or you would know that Landry is inconsistent....he prolly wont break any records and will never amount to anything as a QB.

Which shows how much our run game has fallen off. RunDMC and UPS were well over 2,000...and only one of him is still running.

Not if he's in the "Red Zone".

He's heading into the record books for sure.

All points to how much the pass game has taken over for the less than usually effective run game. We'll find that balance next year as our line gets more and more technique and practice in run-blocking. We made huge strides this year!

I don't remember everyone saying Bradford's or White's numbers just showed how bad the run game was - even though it had trouble during their time here, as well.
